Las Vegas – Vancouver Tour

Tour Outline

The tour travels from Las Vegas through the back roads of Nevada and up to Vancouver Canada with side trips to Death Valley, Bonneville Salt Flats and Salt Lake City for the start of the Canada – Alaska tour. One-night Las Vegas hotel accommodation is included with motorhome pick-up the following day.

Tour Highlights

DEATH VALLEY NATIONAL PARK

Known as the hottest place on earth at the summer peak (July – August) the park has an interesting history and some spectacular scenery.   

BONNEVILLE SALT FLATS SPEEDWAY

While we can’t take the motorhome on the salt flats we do get a good look at the place numerous world records have been set. 

TEMPLE SQUARE – SALT LAKE CITY

We join a free guided tour of this interesting facility – For those interested in family history the genealogy centre is close by. 

OREGON TRAIL INTERPRETIVE CENTRE

The National Historic Oregon Trail Interpretive Centre located just outside Baker City It offers living history demonstrations, interpretive programs, exhibits, multi-media presentations, special events, and more than four miles of interpretive trails. Using life-size displays, films and live theatre presentations, this Centre tells the story of Oregon Trail pioneers, explorers, miners and settlers of the frontier west. The 500 acre site includes remnants of the historic Flagstaff Gold Mine, actual ruts carved by pioneer wagons, and magnificent vistas of the historic trail route.
